The merger has created a whole new dimension in world transport fabrics which now offer a total passenger transport textile solution available from one source. The range now includes traditional wool moquettes; flat weave products, leather and the new E-Leather® engineered recycled leather upholstery fully compliant to UK and European FR standards. Headliners and curtain trims are also catered for to give complete interior co-ordination.
As part of Camira Group, textile ecology and sustainability have become an integral part of design and manufacturing. Developing increasingly sustainable fabrics and treatments is a key step in the process of environmental design management. Holdsworth manufacture moquette using a high content of natural wool with cotton backing. Fabrics are woven on energy efficient looms powered by renewable electricity and water is supplied from a natural borehole.
